Central Tiffin Room or CTR serves the best benne dosa in Bangalore. Now called Sri Sagar, the place was established in 1920 and has become a Malleshwaram icon.
The benne dosa here is unique. It has a crispy outside with an almost glass-like shine and texture. The inner part is thick and soft. The potato masala is minimally spiced yet flavourful. Many other tiffin places in Bangalore have copied the CTR style of dosa, but few come close to the original.
It’s just so good. A must visit in Bangalore.
